Police have arrested Asaduzzaman Hiroo, a youth who claimed to be the father of Awami League General Secretary and fugitive former minister Obaidul Quader. He was arrested in a murder case filed by the capital’s Badda Police Station on Wednesday night.
According to sources, Asaduzzaman Hiroo is accused of providing funds to the anti-discrimination student movement. He also used to embezzle money by using Obaidul Quader’s power.
