After her visit to Bangladesh, Vikram Mishri briefed the Indian Parliamentary Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs on Wednesday (December 11).
In the briefing, Vikram Mishri said that India does not approve of ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s criticism of the interim government of Bangladesh. There remains an unease in the India-Bangladesh relationship.
The Indian Foreign Secretary said that India’s relations with Bangladesh are not limited to ‘any single political party’ or one government. India values ​​relations with the ‘people of Bangladesh’. They will work with the current government of Bangladesh.
