Chittagong: A memorial service and friendly gathering was held with former members and associates of Anwara Upazila Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir. More than a hundred former members of Anwara Shibir participated in the program.

At that time, it became a gathering of former and current officials.
This memorial service and friendly gathering was held at the National Hospital Hallroom in Chittagong City on Friday (January 10).

The meeting was presided over by the Ameer of Upazila Jamaat, freedom fighter Master Abdul Gani, and the Ameer of Central Surah and Karma Parishad, Chittagong South District Jamaat-e-Islami, Ameer Anwarul Alam Chowdhury, was present as the chief guest.

He said, this former manpower and today’s gathering will make the Islamic movement of Anwara Upazila more dynamic. Our planned work in this way will make the soil of Anwara fertile for the Islamic movement. Today’s program will further energize the people on the field, Insha Allah.

At this time, National Hospital, Parkview Hospital Director and Liver Specialist Dr. Mohammad Jasim Uddin discussed the overall issues of local organizations and future plans.

He said, those responsible in Anwara will have to work based on plans. We have to go to the people by doing service and social reform work. We have to purify ourselves. Only then will we be able to change Anwara.
